You may be eligible for a return and refund under the following conditions:

  • Damaged or Defective Products: If you receive a product that is damaged during transit or is found to be defective upon arrival.
  • Incorrect Product: If you receive a product that is different from what you ordered.
  • Quality Concerns: While we ensure the highest quality, if you have a genuine concern about the quality of the tea that significantly impacts its intended use or enjoyment. This excludes subjective taste preferences.

Please Note: Due to the nature of our products (perishable food items), we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds for reasons other than those listed above, such as a change of mind or dislike of flavor after opening.

Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • Timeframe: You must notify us of your intent to return within 2 days of receiving your order.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or receipt) is required.
  • Original Condition (where applicable):
    • For damaged/defective products, please do not dispose of the item. We may request photographs or the return of the item for inspection.
    • For incorrect products, the item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
  • Packaging: If the item needs to be returned, it should be securely packed to prevent further damage during return shipping.

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide Details: In your email or call, please provide:
    • Your order number.
    • A clear description of the issue (e.g., “damaged packaging,” “wrong product received,” “tea smells stale”).
    • Attach clear photographs or videos if the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  3. Wait for Approval: Our team will review your request and get back to you within 48 hours with instructions. Do not send the product back until you have received approval from us.

Return Shipping

  • If your return is approved due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, Tea Mill will arrange for a reverse pick-up or reimburse you for the shipping costs incurred in returning the item to us.
  • If a return is accepted under exceptional circumstances for reasons other than the above (at Tea Mill’s sole discretion), the cost of return shipping may be borne by the customer.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 business days. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.
  • Partial Refunds: In certain situations, partial refunds may be granted (e.g., if only a portion of an order is defective).
  • Non-Refundable Items: Gift cards are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We generally do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different product, we recommend returning the original item (if eligible) for a refund and placing a new order.
